#ItsInTheBag Share the Dignity Christmas Appeal

This year we are supporting Share the Dignity’s annual Christmas appeal #ItsInTheBag. 

Over 134,000 bags are donated to women and girls doing it tough each year. The bags are made of so much love and care, filled with basic essentials, period products, and many more special gifts for people in need during Christmas.

What is Share the Dignity?

Share the Dignity works to make a real, on-the-ground difference in the lives of those experiencing homelessness, fleeing domestic violence, or doing it tough. They distribute period products to those in need and work to end period poverty here in Australia.

When someone is doing it tough, the last thing on their mind should be dealing with their period.

They assist those in need by collecting thousands of period products each year through collection drives and campaigns and distributing them directly to charities across Australia – such incredible work!

How does it support?

#itsinthebag is an annual event where we encourage everyday Aussies to put together bags filled with essential items & drop them into collection points. These bags are distributed to 3000 different charity partners and donated to someone’s mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, aunty or friend in need over Christmas. Why is Euphoria Skin is part of this meaningful cause?

Euphoria Skin believes everyone deserves to be afforded the Dignity, which many of us take for granted. ‘Loving the skin you live in’ extends to not only a physical difference within ourselves but an ability to be changemakers. We are creating awareness to those in our community and beyond who need support and love.

How you can be part of it?

• Bags / backpacks (can be in good used condition)
• Self-care products
• Newborn nappies
• Pads
• Tampons
• Period undies
• Toothbrushes
• Toothpaste
• Roll on deodorant
• Body wash
• Soap
• Baby dummies
• Baby wipes 
• Nappy rash cream 

When are the drop-off dates?

We will be collecting items from the 7th -18th of November. Simply drop in or bring your goodies to your appointment.

FACT:

In 2021, Share the Dignity was able to donate 100,174 #ItsInTheBag donations to women, girls and those who menstruate, bringing their five-year total to over 725,000 #ItsInTheBag donations.
