During the treatment, a mild sensation of warmth may be experienced as the device is moved over the skin to deliver pulses of light. The procedure is generally comfortable and is completed within 30 to 45 minutes, depending on the size of the area being treated.

Lumecca IPL is a non-invasive procedure; typically, there is minimal to no downtime. After the treatment, it’s normal to be a little red and feel warm for 1-2 hours. Your pigment will get nice and dark over the next 24-48 hours but don’t worry, they’ll start to fade away over the week.

The number of treatments required depends on your skin’s condition and desired results. Most of our clients see a significant improvement after 1-2 treatments, but we typically recommend a series of 3 sessions for optimal results.
