Just a disclaimer – as you start reading this blog you may be thinking “umm I struggle to get out of bed, get the kids ready for school or even have a shower in peace, let alone engage in a 201-step morning routine.”

Here at Euphoria, we are big believers in where your focus goes, your energy flows! We get it, sometimes it’s hard to get into that positive mindset, especially with the current lockdown situation (hands up my fellow snooze hitters out there).
We wanted to give you some of our best tips to start your day off right with positivity – and illuminate your skin’s inner glow. Because remember, great skin starts from within!
Exercise
The first is obvious, although it may not come naturally to everyone, get your body moving!
Increasing blood flow helps nourish skin cells with oxygen and nutrients keeping them vital. All the blood flow also helps us with elimination – carrying away waste from all our cells including our digestive system. And did we mention the feel-good energy it brings with all those endorphins pumping around our bodies?!
Mediation and gratitude
Pop on a 5-or-10-minute guided meditation. There are many great apps available – our top pic is CALM. Then, write down 3 things you are grateful for. It may seem silly – but trust me, it’s effective!
This practice will reduce the stress levels in your body and change the way you respond and react to stress during the day ahead. Stress is one of the leading causes of skin disorders we see at the clinic. We definitely saw this with the last lockdown including breakouts, eczema, and dermatitis.

Did you know that our thoughts create our emotions? Since we have total control over our thoughts (I know it might not feel like it sometimes), you also have the power to start your day on a super positive note each and every day.
Digestive
Try a glass of warm water with lemon juice or apple cider vinegar 30-minutes before breakfast.
This will get your digestive juices flowing and give your metabolism a boost for the day ahead!

- Hand full of spinach
- 1 cup of Almond milk

- ½ frozen banana
